• How to Reach to Agra

There is no direct filght from outside India to Agra. Good news is, Agra is only 200 Km from Delhi.

    By Air:
Indian airlines operate daily tourist shuttle flights to Agra, Khajuraho, Varanasi and back. It only takes 40 minutes from Delhi to Agra.

    By Rail:
Trains like Palace on Wheel, Shatabdi, Rajdhani, and Taj Express are the best choices if you want to reach Agra from Delhi.

The Bhopal Shatabdi leaves New Delhi at 6am daily, arriving at Agra Cantonment Railway Station (2km/1 mile from downtown) at 8am; it returns to Delhi at 11:05pm. Alternatively, you can catch the Taj Express, which leaves Delhi’s Nizamuddin Station at 7:15am, returning to Delhi at 10:05pm. Agra Cantonment Railway Station (inquiries tel. 131 or 133, reservations 0562/242-0998) has prepaid taxi/auto-rickshaw hire (Rs 50-Rs 120/$1.15-$2.80) at Platform 1; this is also where you can book a city sightseeing tour. Trains from Rajasthan pull in at the Agra Fort Station. (If you’re arriving from elsewhere, avoid the inconveniently located Agra City Station.)

    By Road:
Many tour operators in Delhi offer bus tours to Agra.
